My campaign is underway and together with the members of my volunteer committee, I am working hard to get out and meet the people of District 18A and hear their ideas and concerns, while sharing my own position on the issues that affect each of us in our rural area of the state.

I am asking for your financial support of my campaign. As you can imagine, it costs money to travel around the district to attend community events and meet people, to provide informational brochures, and to purchase advertising and other materials to get my message out. Can I count on you for a contribution to my campaign?

The Political Contribution Refund Program enables each voter in the state of Minnesota to receive a refund of up to $50 per year when making a campaign contribution to a candidate for state office. The underlying goal of this refund program is to make it unnecessary for candidates to accept large contributions from individuals donors and lobbying groups by providing candidates with enough small donations to adequately finance their campaigns. We will supply you with a receipt for your contribution and a PCR form to send to the state. Your refund will arrive in 6 to 8 weeks from the time you mail it in.

Volunteer

Volunteers are also needed to carry out the work that needs to be done. Any amount of time or effort you would be willing to give to the campaign would be appreciated. Please contact me by phone at (320) 395-2211 or by email at angvall4staterep@rocketmail.com to let me know how you would be willing to volunteer.

It is important that we raise money immediately, both to fund our campaign needs, but also to show the strong base of support we have within the district. Please consider contributing up to the $50 refundable amount, and if you are able to contribute more, we would certainly appreciate that. The individual limit is $500 of cash and/or in kind contributions in an election year. Please mail your check to the above address today! And please include your email address so that we can periodically communicate campaign updates, requests for volunteer help, and other important campaign information we would like to share with our supporters.
